3 Coaches Receive Training

The Saint Lucia Volleyball Association continued its mandate to increase the capacity of its affiliates and their members. Three local coaches were given the opportunity to enhance their skills at a Level 1 coaching seminar hosted in the federation of St. Kitts Nevis. Facilitated by Coach Dan Girleanu. This program exposed our new coaches to the level of technical competence required to continue their career as coaches.

The selected coaches also highlight SLVA’s aim to increase the gender diversity amongst the volleyball coaching fraternity. The three coaches Ms. Kerresia Thomas, Mrs.Marcia Ross and Ms. Khrisann Eugene all expressed their immense gratitude towards SLVA for making this training possible. These three ladies have already been assigned to secondary schools on the island where they will gain further practical experience and coaching hours.
