National Player and current junior at University of Arkansas Pine Bluff Lisa Casimie continues to shine and place her country and national federation on the map.
For the second time in as many months Lisa has been listed as the best new comer of the SWAC- South Western Athletic Conference. This month she also took home the top honors of offensive player of the week.
Lisa put away a combined 53 kills over three matches, averaging a .278 attack percentage over that span. The junior attacker had two matches where she hit better than .400, as she averaged 4.42 kills per set. Versus Southern on Nov. 2, she made 16 kills to go with seven digs, four service aces and four blocks in a five-set loss. She followed that with another 16-kill effort versus Texas Southern, hitting .433 and making six digs as UAPB swept the No. 3 seed Lady Tigers. The Babonneau School alumna capped her week with 21 kills and eight digs during a four-set win over Prairie View A&M, hitting .415 in the match.
