LCA Julian Bissette has done it again!

Julian has continued to make St Lucia proud as he led his team CS Arcada Galați to victory on Wednesday October 23^rd, 2019. CS Arcada Galați is the new Divizia A1 men’s volleyball champion of Romania.
This was the second Super Cup win in three years for Galaţi, the Divizia A1 men’s league champions. They beat Municipal Volleyball Zalău for the inaugural Super Cup in 2017.Dinamo Bucureşti succumbed only after a very intense battle, 3-2 (25-17, 19-25, 26-24, 24-26, 16-14). The vigorous game lasted an hour and a half.

 A former resident of Babonneau was at his best for the Galatians. The 28-year-old middle blocker\outside hitter – who has also played in Greece and France – compiled 22 points.

This 198cm giant has showed that he is a force to be reckoned with and that we can continue to expect great things from him in the near future. Volleyball St Lucia and the entire volleyball family would like to congratulate him on his win and look forward to seeing many more titles with his name.
