Jetsetters
The history of Jet Setters is part of the folklore of Saint Lucia volleyball. A group of Valkyries seeing the domination of men only in the sport of volleyball set off on a quest to establish an all female club. These volleyball amazons featuring the Issac sisters (Elma Gene & sis), Clarette Auguste, Judith Crane and Beverly Henry chose the name Jet Setters and the location Vigie Multipurpose Court to begin their challenge of reshaping volleyball in Saint Lucia. And reshape they did. The chalice of leadership was then passed to Joyce Brown, sister of a legendary volleyball family who kept the ship steady for many years.
Jet Setters now have both a male and female section and have dominated male volleyball in Saint Lucia for over fifteen years.
